History has taught us a dedicated source of revenue is needed to operate and maintain a public swimming pool.
THANK YOU LEADVILLE!
Thank you for approving the .5% dedicated sales tax with revenue going to operate and maintain an affordable public aquatic center.

  • Currently the State Department of Revenue is collecting the City .5% Sales Tax and allocating it to the City to add to the Aquatics Center Fund.

  • $542,180.85 is in the aquatics center fund, held by the City of Leadville.

  • It is the responsibility of the City Council to ensure aquatics center funds are used for the public purpose which the voters intended.
